Iris		 Irises bloom in early summer, lovely eye catching blooms on a tall stalk Full to part sun, Do not trim leaves (cut off brown tips only), trim stalk to ground in fall, divide every 3-5 years
Hosta Flower
Hosta		 Hosta have lush green leaves all season, varigated variety has green and white leaves, some varieties will have a bloom at the top of a tall spike in early to mid summer Full to part shade, very hardy, easy care, trim after first frost to within 1 inch of the ground
Bleeding Heart Flower
Bleeding Heart		 Bleeding Hearts have pink or white delicate heart shaped dangling flowers that bloom in early spring Full to part share, Plant will die back to the ground with the heat of summer, cut foliage to ground at this time
Barberry Flower
Barberry		 Barberry is a hardy shrub with rich colorful foliage all season Full sun to part shade, prune for shape in fall or winter
Shasta Daisy Flower
Shasta Daisy		 Shasta Daisies have perky summer blooms that will last until September Good drainage required, short lived perennial (will need to replant every few years) Deadhead spent flowers to promote regrowth, trim to ground in fall
Hens and Chicks Succulant
Hens and Chicks		 Hens and Chicks is a succulent that will emerge from winter hybernation in early spring and last all season, some limited blooms Can be grown anywhere (even on rocks) with full sun, very easy care, rarely water, deadhead any blooms, divide every 2 years
Hydrangea Flower
Hydrangea		 Hydrangeas bloom in mid summer, large heavy balls of blooms, may need staking Full sun to part shade, enjoys deep watering at least once a week, trim to ground once blooming has ceased, blooms from new growth each year
Lilac Flower
Lilac		 Lilacs bloom in spring with a wonderful aroma, blooms will last about 2 weeks in nothern states Part sun with afternoon shade, pruning after blooms are spent is essential for older plants to encourage continued flowering, with proper care can last decades
Woodland SunFlower
Woodland Sunflower		 Woodland Sunflowers (also known as Swamp Sunflowers) will bloom in summer and last all season. This is a smaller variety of it's well known cousin the Garden Sunflower Full sun, can be invasive USE WITH CAUTION, remove spent blooms and trim to ground in fall to prevent excessive spreading
